[Recap] DMFA Lunch: Avoiding Analysis Paralysis

Last week I had the pleasure of attending the DMFA Luncheon on "Avoiding Analysis Paralysis". From the title you can conclude that it was about data and it's effects on your Annual Fund. This seminar was definitely my cup of tea, as analysis is one of the many functions I love about fundraising! 

I think the main theme of the event was to make sure you understand your KPI (Key Performance Indicators) before you pull your data. In many cases, you have to know your KPI before you can even get to pulling, as with Google Analytics, but it is very important to know what you are measuring before you dive into the black-hole of data that may never end.
